Aldo Leopold: Learning from the Land (video)

A daughter recalls the story of the Leopold family and their Wisconsin "Shack" experience.

This first-person documentary follows Leopold's eldest daughter and environmental leader, Nina Leopold Bradley, as she reads essays from her father's famous book,  A Sand County Almanac at the locations that inspired his writings.  Interspersed are Nina's recollections of her father and their life working and living at the family's weekend retreat, which became known as "The Shack".  

The documentary was aired on Public Broadcast stations throughout the country, distributed to every school and library in Wisconsin, and was awarded the Award of Merit for Excellence by the Wisconsin Historical Society.
